THE STABLES

 High Country Stables is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains about 15 minutes west of Calgary, Alberta, near the hamlet of Bragg Creek click here for map.

High Country Stables has been in operation since 1987 and was purchased in 2006 by Rick Warthe of Calgary, Alberta. Situated on 22 acres ( 9 HA), the stables is open to all levels of riders.

 
Facilities Include:

 
 

  • A 60' x 180' indoor arena with viewing lounge

  • An indoor round pen

  • 50 indoor stalls

  • A large (100' x 200') outdoor ring

  • 10 acres (4 ha.) of pasture

    Western, English, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, pleasure and competitive - High Country Stables caters to all types of riders in the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

    Lessons for all ages and abilities are available from qualified instructors.

    Ferrier and Veterinary services are also available on site.

    High Country Stables is a full service boarding facility with experienced staff.
